CINQ-Citizens Involved in the Northwest Quadrant

Greetings,
We need your help. Please take a moment to read this and send money. It is a very worthy cause.

There are two young film makers who are willing to make a film about the culture of corruption and deceit surrounding Rocky Flats. As you may know, a private toll road is proposed to be built on Rocky Flats land, and the Plutonium-laced dust from construction has the potnetial to threaten public health.

The film makers, Gabriella Louise and Chris Garr recently completed a film called, “No Water to Waste“, which highlights the push by politicans and developers to advance developemnt and sprawl, and forever damage the land, water and public health in Jefferson County. If you haven’t seen this film, please watch: http://nowatertowaste.com/film.html

No Water to Waste is a brilliant documentary that touches on Rocky Flats, however the culture of deceit runs deep. Dr. Harvey Nichols refers to the cover up as, “bordering on the fantastic.” Gabriella and Chris are willing to make a film about the the lie that Rocky Flats is “safe.” It is not, and this new film will focus on the story behind the story. If the film is made, it has the potential to bring some people to account, and maybe that is what is needed.

Please send these two young people money – whatever you can afford. There is no casue more worthy. You can make a doantion directly on their web site.

No Water to Waste will be featured in the Colorado Environmental Film Festival this February 24th.  Special thanks to Gabrielle and Chris for their extraordinary efforts. Their films have the potnetial to bring change.
